Who is responsible
Kalevala Online is developed and published by Arranz Group Ltd, Business ID 3345062-2. Arranz Group Ltd is the controller of personal data handled through this website and its waitlist.

Information we collect
When you join the Kalevala Online waitlist, we store the information needed to operate a secure double opt-in mailing list:
- Your email address and subscription status.
- The consent wording and version you accepted, together with relevant timestamps.
- Confirmation and unsubscribe token hashes, confirmation delivery status and limited mail error information.
- The page source, language, browser user-agent and privacy-preserving hashes derived from network addresses for security and abuse prevention.
Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. We do not store the original confirmation or unsubscribe tokens.
Website analytics
We use a self-hosted Matomo installation to understand site traffic and improve the website. It can process page addresses, referrers, browser and device information, approximate location information and interaction data. The website configures Matomo without analytics cookies. Our servers still receive normal network information required to deliver the website and analytics requests.
Why we use this information
- To verify waitlist registrations and send requested development updates or testing invitations.
- To honour unsubscribe requests and maintain an accurate suppression status.
- To protect the website and mail system against spam, fraud and misuse.
- To understand aggregate website use and improve the visitor experience.
Waitlist messages are based on your consent. Security, service integrity and cookieless first-party analytics are processed for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service. You may withdraw waitlist consent at any time.
Sharing and international access
We do not sell personal data. Information is handled through the hosting, database, analytics and email infrastructure used to operate Kalevala Online. Access is limited to authorised operation of the service or where disclosure is required by law.
Retention
Confirmed waitlist information is kept while you remain subscribed or while it is reasonably needed to operate the pre-launch programme. Unconfirmed, unsubscribed and technical records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for list integrity, security, legal obligations and abuse prevention. You may request deletion of eligible information at any time.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority.
Every waitlist email includes an unsubscribe link. For any other request, contact info@arranzgroup.com.
